ASEAN NCAP Crash Test, How Safe is the Honda CR-V Turbo?

In a crash test conducted by the New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asia (ASEAN NCAP), the All New Honda CR-V Turbo achieved a 5 star safety rating under the new assessment protocol 2017-2020.

From the ASEAN NCAP Assessment 2017-2020 hit test, get a total score of 88.8 out of 100. The tests include front-end tests, side crash tests and evaluation of all security features. All New Honda CR-V Turbo scored 47.25 for the Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) category, and 22.84 for Child Occupant Protection (COP), and 18.71 for Safety Assist Technologies (SA).

The fifth generation Honda CR-V was first launched in Southeast Asia in March 2017 in Thailand, followed by Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. This Honda SUV Premium car has received tremendous appreciation from customers in Southeast Asia.

In Indonesia alone, the All New Honda CR-V Turbo won the “Best Car Choice by Visitor” award at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2017.
